DAMAGE CLAIMS: (1) Mrs. Antoina Gravani, 109 Orchard Avenue, for property damages <br />alleged to have been caused by City sewer; (2) Mrs. Yvorm Williamson, 3436 <br />Rolison Rd., for property damages alleged to have been caused to her vehicle <br />from lack of barriers denoting a dangerous City alley, denied and referred to <br />insurance carrier, on motion of Councilman Petersen, seconded by Councilman <br />Granger and carried (MINUTE ORDERS #68-48-A, B) <br />ACCOUNTS PAYABLE, Nos. 65013 to 65230 inclusive, totalling $431,185.53, were approved <br />on motion of Councilman Henderson, seconded by Councilman Bury and carried. <br />COMMUNICATIONS: <br />Notice from State Justice Department of refund in the <br />amount of $1096.44, California Peace Officers Training <br />Fund, for full 50% - 1967 reimbursement for training <br />of police officers. <br />Deputy Police Chief advised another reimbursement for some $1400. would be <br />received in June for officers graduating this past November from the training <br />program. He also advised City's police personnel attending these classes had <br />received the highest honors in their classes on both occasions. Council ex- <br />tended their congratulations to the Department's personnel. <br />Dr. E. Kenneth Harris, as property owner of <br />1900 Broadway, protesting one-way street traffic <br />pattern now in practice on Broadway as damaging <br />to his own practice and that of his tenants' <br />business operations. <br />Resolution read in full honoring Police Chief on his birthday of this date, <br />and to let him know Council wished him a speedy recovery. <br />Councilman Granger moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO. 5613 CONGRATULATING CHIEF <br />WILLIAM FAULSTICH ON HIS BIRTHDAY, seconded by Councilman Petersen and <br />carried on roll call vote, Councilman Rosselli being noted absent. <br />Councilman Petersen moved to adjourn, seconded by Councilman Henderson and carried. <br />Meeting adjourned at 10:43 P.M. <br />HELEN C. Bury, Mary W. <br />Henderson, Paul C. Keekley, Herbert G. Petersen, John S. Rosselli, Mayor Sidney D. <br />Herkner, and City Clerk Helen C. Moore. Councilman Floyd D. Granger noted absent <br />(excused because of a death in his family. Also noted present were City Manager <br />Howard C. Ullrich, Acting City Attorney David E. Schricker, Assistant City Manager <br />Henry V. Burget, Deputy Police Chief Theodore Moudakas, Fire Chief J. L. Lodi, <br />Planning Director Ken Schroeter, Deputy Director of Public Works Glenn M.
