He requested that a member of the Transportation Committee and a member of <br />the City Staff be authorized to make a one -day trip to Los Angeles to inspect <br />the vinyl and the recordingfare boxes which Mini -Bus wishes to install. <br />He explained that the fare boxes offered are used ones which can be obtained <br />for approximately half the price of new ones, but that in order to insure the <br />condition and desirability they should be carefully inspected by the City before <br />installation. <br />The City Manager stated, that inasmuch as he had not attended the Spring Confer- <br />ence of City Managers, funds budgeted for the Conference werd'.Available in his <br />budget for this trip. After further discussion of the materials being offered <br />and the proposed delivery date of the buses of March 22nd, Councilman Bury <br />moved to authorize the Transportation Committee Chairman and a member of the <br />City Staff to go to Los Angeles for the purposes stated, seconded by Council- <br />man Keckley and carried. Guida and Charles R. Moody, retiring members of the Personnel Board, <br />with expressions of appreciation for their services on this Board. <br />Monthly Progress Report on Redwood Shores.
