Task 3 - BAT AVOIDANCE (AS-NEEDED). HBG will conduct a habitat assessment for bats at the 1400 -foot subsurface concrete box culvert along the 2016 Redwood Branch from Maple Street to Broadway and any road crossings at the remaining three project reaches (2016 Jefferson Branch, Reach 1, and Reach 2). In accordance with Section 2.35 in the Streambed Alteration Agreement, a habitat assessment for bats is required at work sites where culverts, bridges, and structures would be disturbed. The assessment shall include a Visual inspection within 50 feet of the work area for potential bat roosting features no more than 48 hours prior to start of work. Once surveys are completed, HBG will prepare a summary report of the bat survey results and submit it to the CDFW as required. Task Assumptions 1. Three (3) site visit will be required to complete this task. 2. Four (4) hours plus expenses to conduct survey on Jefferson Branch Reach 1 and Redwood Branch Reach 1 project sites. 3. Four (4) hours plus expenses to conduct survey on Jefferson Branch Reach 2 project site. 4. Four (4) hours plus expenses to conduct survey on Redwood Branch Reach 2 project site. 5. Prepare two (2) summary letter reports of survey results for total of 4 hours (2 hours per report). Task 4 - ENVIRONMENTAL PERMIT COMPLIANCE SUPPORT (AS -NEEDED) HBG will provide support, on an as -needed basis, to ensure implementation of the Project is in compliance with the terms and conditions of permits including, but not limited to, USACE NW P-3 Maintenance authorization, RWQCB Water Quality Certification, and CDFW streambed Alteration Agreement. Task Assumptions 1. Attend one (1) meeting with City staff; assumes six (6) hours plus expenses will be needed to complete this task. 2. Additional one (1) hour of technical support (e.g. review notification reports, technical questions, conference calls, emails etc.). D. COST SCHEDULE AND PAYMENTS HGB will bill City as needed for time and materials.
