"That the acquisition by the City of Redwood City <br />of a right of way and easement in and upon that certain <br />real property hereinafter described is necessary for <br />said improvement and that the acquisition shall be made <br />of a fee simple interest and an easement as hereinafter <br />described, for said right of way purposes. <br />"That said public improvement is the use to which <br />said real property is to be applied, and that said use <br />is a public use authorized by law; <br />"That said public improvement is planned and located <br />in the manner which will be most compatible with the <br />greatest public good and the least private injury; <br />"AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: <br />"That the City of Redwood City acquire said real <br />property and easements for said public improvement by <br />an action in eminent domain in accordance with the pro- <br />visions of the Charter of the City of Redwood City, <br />the provisions of Article I, Section 14, of the Consti- <br />tution of the State of California, and the provisions <br />of the Code of Civil Procedure of the State of California <br />relating to eminent domain, said real property being all <br />that real property situate in the County of San Mateo, <br />State of California, more particularly described as <br />follows: <br />PARCEL FOUR (drainage easement) <br />An easement for public drainage and waterway pur- <br />poses, together with the right to perform dredging and <br />related work therein, in the following described parcel: <br />- 2 - <br />
