<br /> Work by Subconsultants/Others <br /> · Aerial photography and mapping for the project will be performed by our <br /> subconsultant, Mark Thomas & Company, located in Redwood City. It is <br /> anticipated that design work will be demonstrated on aerial photography. <br /> · Irrigation system fieldwork and design assistance will be provided using an <br /> irrigation specialist subconsultant(s) under this agreement that is acceptable to <br /> the City. <br /> · Cross Connection Testing - will become part of the construction contract <br /> requirements and will be performed by the construction contractor using a <br /> certified cross-connection control specialist. Testing will be witnessed by the <br /> Consultant. <br /> · Potholing services for selected existing utilities are included and will be <br /> performed by our subconsultant, Miller Pipeline, using vacuum excavation <br /> techniques. The excavations will be patched with a cold patch, where they are <br /> made in pavement. <br /> · The design and construction of the treatment, storage, pumping and distribution <br /> pipelines will be provided under separate agreements with consultants and are <br /> not a part of this scope of services. However, the scope of services herein <br /> provides for the coordination of the preliminary service laterals locations for the <br /> distribution pipeline design team's use. <br /> Contract Documents and Technical Specifications <br /> · Consultant will develop and maintain general design criteria and standards for <br /> retrofits that will be applied to all subsequent retrofit designs. <br /> · Contract documents to be used for bidding and construction of customer retrofits <br /> under this project will be prepared assuming: <br /> · City's Bidding and Contract Documents will be used <br /> · City's General and Supplemental Conditions will be used <br /> · City's drafting standards and potable water system pipeline design details will <br /> be used/modified as required to meet DHS requirements for recycled water <br /> systems. <br /> · Kennedy/Jenks' Technical Specifications and Design Drawings will be used. <br /> Agreement over $10K 14 <br /> KennedyJenks Rev-2 112603 <br />
