<br /> Consultant shall prepare a work plan for the project, including a quality assurance plan. <br /> Consultant shall also prepare monthly invoices, including a brief summary of the project <br /> status with each invoice. The status report will include an update of the work being <br /> performed, and the status (originally planned, projected and achieved) of individual <br /> customer retrofits with respect to engineering and construction cost and water usage. <br /> The consultant will co-ordinate with the City's Finance Department to develop an <br /> approach and document format for the cost and water usage. This information will be <br /> used by the Program Manager and the City to track the costs and water supply benefits <br /> of the project. <br /> Task 1.2 - City Retrofit Coordination Meetings <br /> Consultant shall coordinate with the City through meetings and correspondence. It is <br /> anticipated that a, two-hour-Iong project status/coordination meeting will be conducted <br /> with the City every other week over the contract period. Consultant's project manager <br /> or designated representative will attend each meeting. <br /> Task 1.3 - QA/QC Program <br /> Consultant shall develop and execute a Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) <br /> Program specific to this project. Quality reviews will be conducted prior to the <br /> Preliminary and Final Design submittals for each retrofit. <br /> Task 1.4 - Schedule <br /> Consultant shall prepare a Gantt chart schedule for design and construction of each <br /> site retrofit. The schedule format will be coordinated with the City's program manager. <br /> The schedule will be updated monthly and will serve as the basis of preparing the <br /> status reports under Task 1.1. <br /> Task 2 - Service Lateral Coordination <br /> To assist in design of the pipeline conveyance system (by others) from the treatment <br /> facilities to the customer sites, Consultant shall perform preliminary service lateral <br /> reconnaissance. The assessment will determine existing meter locations and establish <br /> preliminary locations for new service lateral pipelines that will be constructed to the <br /> customer site boundary. This information will be provided by Consultant to the City via <br /> field notes and mark-ups of base drawings provided by the pipeline designer. The <br /> lateral will be designed and constructed by others. <br /> Task 3 - Customer Coordination, Data Gathering and Site Fieldwork <br /> The engineering labor effort for this task is estimated to be four hours per customer site. <br /> Task 3.1 - Preliminary Customer Site Visit <br /> Attend and participate in an initial customer site visit scheduled by a City representative. <br /> This meeting will occur after the City has performed BMP5 related work, has developed <br /> Agreement over $10K 18 <br /> KennedyJenks Rev-2 112603 <br />
