EXHIBIT "A" <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Work to complete Historic Resource Impact Analysis will include: <br />TASK A.1: HISTORIC RESOURCE IMPACT ANALYSIS <br />a) Field Survey: Page & Turnbull will visit the proposed project site and Main <br />Street Historic District to take digital photographs and make field notes. Page <br />& Turnbull will also take photos of the buildings at 847-849 Main Street, 855- <br />857 Main Street, and the warehouses on Walnut Street. The Field Survey will <br />include examination and photographs of interior features. The Client will <br />provide interior building permits, if available in records with Redwood City, for <br />review. <br />b) Review Existing Documentation: Page & Turnbull will review the Downtown <br />Precise Plan's historic preservation section, the Cultural Resources chapter of <br />the DTPP's EIR, the documentation for the Main Street Historic District and <br />extension, DPR 523 survey forms, Chapter 40 of the Municipal Code. Page & <br />Turnbull will not undertake any original historic research for this project, but <br />will rely on existing documentation for an understanding of the historic <br />district's significance. <br />c) Review Project Plans: Page & Turnbull will review one set of project plans <br />from the Client and gain familiarity with the proposed work. Page & Turnbull <br />may contact the Client for verbal explanation of the project or other necessary <br />information. <br />d) Historic Resource Impacts Analysis Report: Once all background materials <br />have been reviewed, Page & Turnbull will use this information to summarize <br />the historic status of the buildings; summarize the proposed project scope; <br />review the project for compliance with the DTPP's historic resource <br />preservation standards and guidelines, the DTPP EIR, and Chapter 40 of the <br />Municipal Code. The report will include a Secretary of the Interior's Standards <br />analysis, which is required both by the DTPP and in typical CEQA analysis. <br />The report will conclude with analyses of project -specific and cumulative <br />impacts that can feed into the project's EIR. <br />e) Alternative: Page & Turnbull review a project alternative, provided by the <br />client, for compliance with the DTPP's historic resource preservation <br />standards and guidelines, the DTPP EIR, Chapter 40 of the Municipal Code, <br />and the Secretary of the Interior's Standards.
