Section 4.0 — Environmental Selting and Discussion of Impacts
than significant level. As discussed in Section 4.6, Geology and Soils, development of the project
could result in increased differential settlement on the project site. The project would include MM
GEO-1, which would reduce this impact to a less than significant level. As discussed in Section 4.12,
Noise, project construction could result in temporary noise impacts to residences in the vicinity of the
project site. The project would include MM NOI-1, which would reduce this impact to a less than
significant level. With implementation of the mitigation measures described in this IS and project
consistency with existing plans, policies, and regulations, these impacts would be reduced to a level
that is less than significant.
4.18.2 Cumulative Impacts (Checklist Ouestion 2)
4.18.2.1 Cumulative Aesthetic Impacts
As discussed in Section 4. 1, Aesthetics, the proposed project consists of infill development that
would not result in a significant aesthetic impact and, therefore, would not contribute to a significant
cumulative aesthetics impact. (Less Than Significant Impact)
4.18.2.2 Cumulative Agricultural and Forest Resources Impacts
As discussed Section 4.2, Agricultural and Forest Resources, the proposed project consists of infill
development that would not result in an agricultural and forest resources impact and, therefore,
would not contribute to a significant cumulative agricultural and forest resources impact.
Furthermore, the project site is located in an area that is built -out. (No Impact)
4.18.2.3 Cumulative Air Quality Impacts
Air quality impacts, by nature, are cumulative. As discussed Section 4.3, Air Quality, operation of
the proposed project would not result in an air quality impact and, therefore, would not result in a
cumulative operational air quality impact. Construction of the project could, however, result in
short-term air quality impacts associated with dust generation. The project would include MM AIR -
1, which would reduce this impact to a less than significant level. Therefore, project construction
would not contribute to a significant cumulative air quality impact. (Less Than Significant Impact)
4.18.2.4 Cumulative Biological Resource Impacts
As discussed Section 4.4, Biological Resources, construction of the proposed project could disturb
nesting raptors and/or migratory birds causing nest abandonment and/or loss of reproductive efforts.
The project would 'include MM BIO -1, which would reduce this impact to a less than significant
level. Additionally, trees located immediately adjacent to the proposed additions and improvements
could be harmed during project construction. The proposed project mitigation to reduce this impact
to a less than significant level. For these reasons, the proposed project would not contribute to a
cumulative biological resources impact.
