Section 4.o—Environmental Setting and Discussion oflnzpaca
4.6.3.3 Construction Impacts (Checklist Question 2)
Project construction would disturb the ground and expose soils, thereby, increasing the potential for
wind or water related erosion at the site until construction is complete. As discussed in Section 4.3,
Air Quality and Section 4.9, Hydrology and Water Quality, the proposed project would be required to
implement the BAAQMD Basic Construction Mitigation Measures identified in MM ALR -1 and
RWQCB Best Management Practices that, upon implementation, would reduce project fugitive dust,
erosion, and water quality impacts to a less than significant level. (Less Than Significant Impact
with Mitigation Incorporated)
4.6.3.4 Other Hazards (Checklist Questions 3 and 5)
The project site and surrounding area are flat. Therefore, there is no potential for landslides to affect
the proposed project. The proposed project would include infrastructure to adequately accommodate
the disposal of wastewater. The project does not include septic tanks or alternative wastewater
disposal systems. (No Impact)
4.6.4 Conclusion
The proposed project, with implementation of the recommendations in the design -specific
geotechnical report prepared for the proposed project and identified in MM GEO-1, BAAQMD Basic
Construction Mitigation Measures, and RWQCB Best Management Practices, would not result in
significant geology and soils impacts.
