CRP/Strada 1548
Maple Venture, LLC has since taken over the proposed project and is the project
Applicant.
The 7.2 acre site is located east of Highway 101 and along the City's waterfront. The
site is currently improved with a surface parking lot, harbor master's office building, and
a water tank structure that is currently used by the Peninsula Yacht Club. The site is
part of the proposed Inner Harbor Specific Plan (IHSP) area, however, no further work
is scheduled on the Inner Harbor Specific Plan at this time (as described on the IHSP
oroiect weboage), therefore the Applicant is seeking to move forward with project -
related entitlements and associated environmental analysis.
The project site has a General Plan land use designation of Mixed Use — Waterfront
Neighborhood. Mixed Use — Waterfront Neighborhood allows for the creation of unique
neighborhoods that take advantage of Redwood City's Bay frontage and allows a
residential density of up to 40 dwelling units per acre. There are no maximum heights
established for this land use designation, however each project will be evaluated
through site plan review and must:
• Relate to property size and terrain
• Relate to surrounding uses and character
