10. ADJOURNMENT — 9:57 p.m. <br />M/S Ruskin /Howard to adjourn until the next regular City Council meeting of August 9, <br />2004 at 7:00 p.m. <br />Council Member asked that the meeting be adjourned in honor of Richard Bygdnes <br />who passed away on June 29, 2004 at the age of 73. His family has long and deep <br />roots in Redwood City, dating back to 1931. He attended local schools, graduating <br />from Sequoia High School and attending San Mateo Junior College. He served in the <br />Air Force during the Korean War and attended USC graduating in 1958, returning to <br />Redwood City to work in his family's investment business, and later in the engineering <br />field. <br />The motion passed by a unanimous voice vote by those present. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Patricia S.
