Bair Island is managed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service as <br /> part of the Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge and the California Department of <br /> Fish and Game's Bair Island Ecological Reserve. <br /> A Notice of Availability of DEIS/EIR is expected to be published in the Federal Register on August 27, <br /> 2004. The Notice initiates a 45-day comment period under NEPA. The DEIS/EIR is available on the <br /> following website: http://www.southbavrestoration.org/documents html Copies are available on compact <br /> disk which can be obtained by contacting the San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge Complex, P.
