Section 4.0 – Environmental Setting and Discussion of Impacts <br /> <br /> <br />City of Redwood City 107 Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration <br />Sandpiper Elementary School Facilities Expansion November 2016 <br />that is built-out, and there are no known projects in the area that would result in a significant <br />cumulative land use impact. For these reasons, the proposed project would not contribute to a <br />cumulative land use impact. (Less Than Significant Impact) <br /> <br />4.18.2.11 Cumulative Mineral Resource Impacts <br /> <br />As discussed in Section 4.11, Mineral Resources, the proposed project would not impact mineral <br />resources. Therefore, the proposed project would not contribute to a cumulative mineral resource <br />impact. (No Impact) <br /> <br />4.18.2.12 Cumulative Noise and Vibration Impacts <br /> <br />As discussed in Section 4.12, Noise, operation of the proposed project would not result in a <br />significant noise and vibration impact, and the proposed project includes mitigation measures to <br />reduce construction noise impacts to a less than significant level. Furthermore, the project site is <br />located in an area that is built-out. There are no known projects in the area that, combined with the <br />proposed project, would result in a cumulative noise or vibration impact. For these reasons, the <br />project would not contribute to a cumulative noise or vibration impact. (Less Than Significant <br />Impact) <br /> <br />4.18.2.13 Cumulative Population and Housing Impacts <br /> <br />As discussed in Section 4.13, Population and Housing, the proposed project would serve planned <br />growth in the project area as discussed in the Redwood City General Plan. The project does not <br />include housing and would not add a substantial number of jobs (11 additional staff members) to the <br />area. For these reasons, the project would not contribute to a cumulative population and housing <br />impact. (Less Than Significant Impact) <br /> <br />4.18.2.14 Cumulative Public Services Impacts <br /> <br />As discussed in Section 4.14, Public Services, the proposed project consists of infill development that <br />would not result in a significant impact to public services. Furthermore, the project site is located in <br />an area that is built-out, and there are no known projects in the area that would result in a cumulative <br />impact to public services. For these reasons, the project would not contribute to a significant <br />cumulative public services impact. (Less Than Significant Impact) <br /> <br />4.18.2.15 Cumulative Recreation Impacts <br /> <br />As discussed in Section 4.15, Recreation, the proposed project consists of infill development that <br />would not result in a significant recreation impact. Furthermore, the project site is located in an area <br />that is built-out, and there are no known projects in the area that would result in a cumulative <br />recreation impact.
