ORIGINAL <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND THE REDWOOD CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT <br />REGARDING CONSTRUCTION ESTABLIStlMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF PLAYING <br />FIELDS AT TAFT AND GARFIELDSCHOOLS <br />This Agreement is made this day of 0trx 1999 by and between the <br />County of San Mateo County the City ofRedwood City City and the Redwood City School <br />District a public school district in the County of San Mateo District <br />RECITALS <br />A District is the owner of certain real property located within the County of San Mateo <br />State of California The property consists ofportions of the sites of two elementary schools to wit <br />Garfield 317 acres and Taft 271 acres hereafter referred to collectively as the property which <br />will be used by the parties to repair restore design establish and maintain playing fields at the school <br />sites <br />B County City and District have determined that the property would be an appropriate site <br />for the playing fields and wish to cooperate in the restoration repair design establishment and <br />maintenance ofthe playing fields as set forth herein <br />C The total estimated cost for the repair restoration design including architectural and <br />engineering drawings and establishment of the fields is 1833379broken down as follows Tatt field <br />733379 and Garfield field 1100000 <br />NOW THEREFORE County City and District agree as follows <br />1 Purposes <br />This Agreement is entered into for purpose of repair restoration design establishment and <br />maintenance of playing fields on District property including the sites of two elementary schools to wit <br />1 <br />6.1.B. - Page 16
