A survey report shall be provided to the Building <br />Inspector for review and approval. [COA][PLANNING] <br />54. Sales and Use Taxes — For commercial projects with a valuation of over $10 <br />million, register with the Board of Equalization to create an ID prior to project <br />construction and operation. This maximizes the City's allocation of sales and <br />use taxes associated with project construction. Hours of Construction — Construction activity is permitted between 7:00 <br />a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, except as permitted on weekends <br />by the Building Official, and shall adhere to the City's Noise Ordinance. If <br />possible, the noisiest construction activities would be scheduled for daytime <br />hours when the ambient noise levels are highest. SDR [BUILDING] <br />56. Construction Meetings — The applicant is required to contact the Permit <br />Counter (650.780.7350) to schedule the following meetings prior to or during <br />construction. [COA][BUILDING] <br />a. Pre -Submittal — Prior to building permit submittal, schedule a pre - <br />submittal meeting with Building, Planning, Engineering and Fire staff to <br />discuss the permitting process and submittal requirements. <br />b. Pre -Construction - After City permits are issued, but prior to start of <br />construction, schedule a pre -construction meeting with Engineering, <br />Building, Fire, and Planning staff to discuss the inspection process and <br />requirements for construction and site work. The applicant shall arrange <br />for the attendance of the owner, developer, construction manager, <br />contractor, and all subcontractors who are responsible for grading and <br />erosion and sedimentation protection controls. After City permits are <br />issued the project manager or jobsite superintendent shall schedule a pre - <br />construction meeting with the project field inspectors, contractors and sub- <br />contractors to go over the expectations that the field inspectors will have. <br />c. Interior Finishes & Amenities - After sheetrock inspection but prior to <br />installation, contact the Project Planner and Housing Staff to verify, to the <br />City's satisfaction, that all interior finishes and amenities in the affordable <br />units are equivalent to amenities used in market rate units. <br />57. Materials Mock -Up — Prior to framing inspection, prepare a mock-up that is <br />outdoors, readily accessible, and will remain intact until the project has <br />reached substantial completion. The mock-up should include all project colors <br />and materials, windows for the base and top, balconies, lighting, and <br />architectural details, as well as construction details, such as the weep screed, <br />to understand how the design addresses them.
