(ie: no 14 Alternate Training Days will be recorded.) <br />• Lunch Breaks -Allies cannot count time spent on lunch as hours served in PISD timesheets. Allies are <br />expected to follow the lunch break policies of the Partner Organization with the expectation that the <br />Member will have at least a 30-01inute lunch break during the day. <br />Failure to uphold these expectations may result in PublicAllies terminating the relationship. It is the sole discretion of <br />PublicAllles to remove the Memberfrom your organization at any point during the relationship, and to terminate its <br />relationship. <br />Lateness <br />You are expected to arrive on time to all Public Allies activities and all Partner Organization activities. On 6me is <br />defined as zero minutes after thespecified start time. Repeated tardiness will result in release from the Program. <br />Partner Organization - Ifyou are going to be late to your placement site, you must call to notify your Partner <br />Organization Supervisor and Public Allies Program Manager at least a half-hour before the scheduled start time, or <br />as soon as you know you will not be on time. These incidents most be recorded and briefly explained in your Personal <br />Impact Service Documentation (PISD) time log. Repeated tardiness at your placement will result in release from the <br />PublicAllies.4pprenticeship Program. <br />6. Office Space <br />Sou most provide yourhlember with an appropriate officespace. This should include a desk, <br />telephone, internet access and necessary office supplies, a place to put work, and any other office <br />arrangements that will allow aMember to perform to the best of his/her ability. <br />7. Orientation to Partner Organization <br />You must provide your Member with an orientation to your organization. Anorientationis <br />important in ensuring a proper understanding ofyour organization's philosophy, policies and <br />procedures. At this time, you must outline your expectations for your Member. In addition, we <br />request that you introduce your Member to your fellow coworkers and explain Public Allies. <br />8. Member -Staff Relations <br />In order to maintain healthy working relations with the3lember placed at your organization, you <br />are required to maintain aprofessional relationship with the Member. You may not consume <br />alcohol or drugs with aAIember (regardless ofhis/her age), and you may not engage in any sexual <br />behavior with a Member. <br />9. Release and Dismissal Process <br />If you releaseldimbis your Member, Public Allies requires you to: <br />• submit a letter to Public Allies outlining the reasons your blernber was dismissed <br />• return any unused money that Public Allies haspaid your organization towardsthe <br />Memberstipend <br />• complete all required evaluations <br />Public Allies is not required to consult with a porbwr organization when determining if a Member <br />will be released from the program. If a Member is terminated from the Public Allies <br />Apprenticeship program or leaves the Public Allies program for any reason, the Partner <br />Organization may not hire or continue employing the blemberfor a period of six months after the <br />termination. <br />90.
