Stangel <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />CALL TO ORDER - 7:30 p.m., Mayor Greenalch presiding <br />MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />401 Marshall Street <br />Redwood City <br />January 8, 1990 <br />Councilmembers present: Buchan, Bury, Claire, LaBerge, Murray, and <br />Mayor Greenalch <br />Councilmembers absent: Stangel <br />Officials and staff present: Smith, Schricker, Jorgenson and Jean, Griffiths, <br />O'Brien, LaTorra, Luck <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE - Vice Mayor LaBerge <br />INVOCATION - Pastor Dennis Logie <br />First Christian Church <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES - Council Meeting 12/18/89 <br />Executive Session 1/3/90 <br />M /S: Murray /LaBerge to approve subject Minutes as submitted. <br />Carried by unanimous voice vote with Councilman Bury abstaining from the vote on the <br />Minutes of 12/18/89. <br />------------------------------------------------------------------------------ - - - - -- <br />SPECIAL ORDERS OF THE DAY AND PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />1. PUBLIC HEARING - General Improvement District 1 -64 <br />Capital Budget and Increase in Facilities Fees for <br />1990 (901 -02) <br />Report: Community Development Director 11/28/89 <br />City Engineer Curt Luck presented the staff report. In response to Council <br />questions City Engineer Luck advised the GID 1 -64 is a replacement financing <br />mechanism for bonds for infrastructure improvements in Redwood Shores; if <br />changes are needed to the proposed rate schedule Council will be asked to <br />take appropriate action; the emphasis in the proposed budget is on water <br />reclamation and levee improvements; thanked Don Warren of Redwood Shores, <br />Inc. for RSI intensive studies on water reclamation; and advised the <br />remainder of the bond funds would be used on these proposed projects. <br />MINUTE BOOK NO. 49 <br />Page No. 187 Reg.Mtg.Minutes <br />1/8/90 <br />Page 1 <br />
