Proposal for Redwood Shores Golf Driving Range <br />Report: Parks, Recreation and Community Services Director, May 3, 1990 <br />Parks, Recreation and Community Services Director Griffiths presented the <br />staff report. <br />Harold Sibley,, 1269 Radio Road, Redwood City, described the beneficial <br />aspects of his golf facilities to the City of Redwood City, San Mateo County <br />schools, golfers throughout San Mateo County, and the hikers and cyclists <br />who also use the amenities, and the need for a golf facility in the area. <br />Mr. Sibley suggested the City acquire this land as part of its parks system <br />or the land be donated to the City by Redwood Shores Properties at which <br />time he would donate the improvements in exchange for keeping and operating <br />the range on a lease basis. <br />Don Warren, Redwood Shores Properties, No. 3 Twin dolphin Drive, Redwood <br />City, described the subject of this golf course as a business transaction <br />Reg.
