Proposal for Redwood Shores Golf Driving Range Report: Parks, Recreation and Community Services Director, May 3, 1990 Parks, Recreation and Community Services Director Griffiths presented the staff report. Harold Sibley,, 1269 Radio Road, Redwood City, described the beneficial aspects of his golf facilities to the City of Redwood City, San Mateo County schools, golfers throughout San Mateo County, and the hikers and cyclists who also use the amenities, and the need for a golf facility in the area. Mr. Sibley suggested the City acquire this land as part of its parks system or the land be donated to the City by Redwood Shores Properties at which time he would donate the improvements in exchange for keeping and operating the range on a lease basis.
