V. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS and PUBLIC COMMENT <br />Thetis Pappas, 587 Seahorse Lane, Redwood City, agreed with Council that <br />establishment and maintenance of parks in Redwood Shores is necessary to <br />continue to attract people and businesses to a quality community on the <br />peninsula, and asked Council to require developers to put in sidewalks in <br />front of their buildings. <br />Gus Pappas, 587 Seahorse Lane, Redwood City, addressed Council on the <br />recently adopted business license ordinance. <br />--------------------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />SUMMARY <br />City Manager Smith summarized budget objectives and discussed Impact Fees <br />and Parking fines which will be before the Council in the near future, and <br />described the policy of accountability. <br />Council thanked staff for their work on the zero option budget and its <br />presentation, and expressed the desire to find a way to provide more <br />services in this budget restraint period. <br />--------------------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />VI.
