"`Section 107.2.3 Code Compliance Inspection. Footings of concrete and masonry shall be of solid <br /> material. Foundations supporting wood shall extend at least 6 inches (152 mm) <br /> above the adjacent finish grade. Footings shall have a minimum depth as <br /> indicated in Table 18-I-D unless another depth is recommended by a foundation <br /> investigation.
