4. TRANSITIONAL COMMENTS — Councilwoman Barbara Pierce, Trustee Sally Stewart, <br />Supervisor Mary Griffin; <br />Council Member Barbara Pierce, Trustee Sally Stewart and Supervisor Mary Griffin made <br />transitional comments dealing with where the collaboration began, where it wants to go, how <br />Redwood City 2000 brought it all together and the end product. <br />5. Facilitated Discussion Between Boards /Council; <br />Facilitator Reeves asked for comments from various officials and received mostly positive <br />remarks. Thoughts were then expressed as to the structure of the program and some concerns <br />were expressed. Differing views were expressed as to others giving direction to school officials <br />and whether interference in school business was necessary for collaboration to occur. Facilitator <br />Reeves stated the disagreement stemmed from wording in the meeting agenda. He suggested <br />taking the approach of a new definition for the proposed collaboration. <br />The agencies all agreed to each designate two representatives to meet and bring ideas and input <br />from their respective agencies at a later date <br />6.
