Council may choose to provide <br />extension of the effective date of the ordinance and Pilot Program. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There is currently $1,500,000 budgeted for the Pilot Program. <br />the Pilot Program is adopted any funds remaining after July 1, 2020 would need to <br />remain budgeted until July 1, 2022. <br /> <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br />The adoption of this Ordinance is categorically exempt from CEQA pursuant to Section <br />15061(b)(3) of the California Code of Regulations (“CEQA Guidelines”), as it is not a <br />project which has the potential for causing a significant effect on the environment. In <br />addition, funding a loan program is not a project under CEQA as defined in CEQA <br />Guidelines, section 15378(b)(4), because the Fire Safety Program involves a <br />government funding mechanism other governmental fiscal activities which do not <br />involve any commitment to any s <br />significant physical impact in the environment.
