Design Group shall consist of four persons appointed by City and four <br />persons appointed by District, and shall be supported by a staff <br />including the Project Manager, Project Architect and other members of <br />City and District staff as appropriate. <br />b. The Design Group shall initiate development of Design <br />Development and Site Conceptual Plans for the Joint Use Site. The <br />Design Group shall make recommendations as appropriate, to City and <br />District on specific Design Development and Site Conceptual Plans. The <br />Design Development and Site Conceptual Plans shall be approved by City <br />and District prior to development of final plans and specifications for <br />the project. <br />19. Preparation of Final Plans and <br />Specifications and Biddinc Process. <br />a. Plans and specifications must meet all requirements of <br />federal, state and local law, including requirements of the State <br />Education Code with respect to the construction of school facilities. <br />Plans and specifications shall initially be reviewed by the Design <br />Group. Upon completion of the review by the Design Group, the plans and <br />specifications will be reviewed by the District, the City Building <br />Division, the City Architectural Review Board, the City Community <br />Development Department, and the City Fire Department. <br />b. Landscaping and building aesthetics shall be reviewed for <br />recommendations by the Redwood Shores Architectural Review committee; <br />provided that such review shall not include a review of the interior of <br />any school buildings; provided, further, that such review shall be <br />advisory only. <br />c.
