DUPLICATE <br />ORIGINAL <br />JOINT USE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />AND THE BELMONT ELEMENTARY DISTRICT REGARDING <br />JOINT USE OF THE SANDPIPER PARA SITE <br />This agreement is made this 1' 'day of -i-Iz_ -- , 1995, by and <br />between the CITY Or REDWOOD CITY, a municipal corporation of 'the State <br />of California ("City") and the BELMONT ELEMENTARY DISTRICT, a public <br />school district in the County of San Mateo ("District"). <br />RECITALS <br />A. City is the owner of certain real property (hereinafter <br />referred to as "Sandpiper Park"), located within the City of Redwood <br />City, County of San Mateo, State of California, described in Exhibit A, <br />attached hereto. The property, consisting of approximately 9.79 acres <br />of undeveloped land, was acquired by City for the purpose of <br />establishing and operating a park and recreation facility to serve the <br />residents of the Redwood Shores area. The property is currently subject <br />to a deed restriction providing for immediate reversion of title, at the <br />election of the grantor, in the event the property ceases to be used for <br />park purposes. <br />B. City desires to acquire an additional parcel of real property, <br />consisting of approximately 1.25 acres of undeveloped land adjacent to <br />Sandpiper Park, located in the City of Redwood City, County of San <br />Mateo, State of California, described in Exhibit B hereto (hereinafter <br />referred to as the "Egret Lane Property"), for inclusion in Sandpiper <br />Park. <br />C.
