<br /> DES:df ~/21/92R (004/11) <br /> 4/27/92R <br /> Upon conclusion of the hearing, the Council may affirm, <br />reverse, or modify the determination of the Director. The <br />decision of the Council shall be final. <br /> "Section 42.7. Penalties. (a) False information. <br />Any person who shall knowingly furnish or provide a false <br />certification, statement or information with the intent to <br />obtain relocation assistance, or with the intent to deny the <br />payment of relocation assistance under this Chapter shall be <br />guilty of a misdemeanor punishable pursuant to Section <br />1.7(a) of this Code. <br /> (b) Other violations. Any person who shall fail to <br />comply with, or who otherwise violates any provision of this <br />Chapter, except as provided in subdivision (a) hereof, shall <br />be guilty of an infraction punishable pursuant to Section <br />1. 7 (b) of this Code. <br /> "Section 42.8. Payment a Debt. The obligation to pay <br />relocation assistance pursuant to this Chapter is a personal <br />obligation of the Owner or Developer of Affected Property <br />enforceable by an action for damages brought in the name of <br />the City by the City Attorney upon authorization of the City <br />Council. Said damages shall include the amount of unpaid <br />relocation assistance benefits with interest at the legal <br />rate calculated from the date the obligation to pay became <br />due together with reasonable costs of collection including <br />attorneys fees and costs of suit.
