<br /> DES: df1 /21/92R (004/11) <br /> 4/27/92R <br />displaced by reason of enforcement of regulations relating <br />to the safety and habitability of the dwelling units in <br />which they reside or the buildings in which such units are <br />located, or who are displaced by development or other <br />conversion of their dwelling units to non-residential use, <br />shall be provided economic assistance to minimize the <br />adverse effects of such displacement. This Chapter <br />implements the relocation assistance provisions of the <br />Housing Element of the Redwood City General Plan and certain <br />provisions of the State Relocation Assistance law (Gov't. <br />Code §7260 et seq.). <br />"Section 42.3. Definitions. For purposes of this <br />Chapter, the following words, terms and phrases shall have <br />the meanings respectively ascribed thereto: <br />(a) Affected Property - any real property upon or <br /> within which is located a rental dwelling <br /> unit or units which is or are the subject of <br /> Code Enforcement or Non-Residential <br /> Development resulting in the displacement of <br /> the Tenant or Tenants therefrom. <br />(b) Code Enforcement - the enforcement of the <br /> provisions of Chapter 9 of this Code <br /> ("Buildings") including the Uniform Codes <br /> therein adopted by reference as said Chapter <br /> and Uniform Codes now exist or from time to <br /> time may be amended, revised or superseded. <br /> 3 <br />
