Section 2. It is further ordained and ordered that the <br />manner of holding said special municipal election and of voting <br />thereat for or against amending the charter of the City of Redwood <br />City shall be as provided in this ordinance, and that in particulars <br />not recited herein such special municipal election shall be held as <br />provided by law for holding municipal elections in said city, and <br />that in all particulars not recited herein and not provided by law <br />for holding such municipal election, the general election laws of <br />the State of California, so far as the same may be applicable, <br />shall apply. Said special municipal election shall be conducted <br />by Boards of Election consisting of one inspector, one judge and <br />two clerks for each precinct, whose duties and powers shall be the <br />same as those of Boards of Election, and such election officers <br />respectively under the law governing municipal elections, and in <br />particulars not covered by such law, then under the general election <br />laws of the State of California. If any of the members of said <br />Boards of Election herein named fail to attend at the opening of <br />the polls in the morning of the day of such election, the electors <br />of that precinct present at that hour may supply the place of any <br />absent member by appointment, as provided by such general election <br />laws. <br />At such special municipal election the polls shall be opened <br />at six o'clock in the morning of the day of such special municipal <br />election, and must be kept open until seven o'clock in the evening <br />of said day, when the polls shall be closed. <br />For the purpose of said special municipal election and for <br />the conduct thereof, the City of Redwood City is divided into <br />eight (8) special elect- <br />-12- <br />
