<br /> · DES:d;k 11/07/89 (029/7) <br />SECTION 5. Section 9.80 of the Redwood City Code is hereby <br />amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 9.80. Adoption by Reference; Conflicting <br />Provisions. (a) Pursuant to Section 50022.1, et seq. , of <br />the Government Code and Section 15 of the Charter of the <br />City of Redwood City, the Uniform Plumbing Code, 1988 <br />Edition, as published by the International Association of <br />Plumbing and Mechanical Officials is hereby adopted and <br />shall be in effect within the City of Redwood City to the <br />same extent as if set out in full herein except as expressly <br />amended by the provisions of this article. Appendices A, B, <br />and D thereto are specifically adopted and shall be <br />enforceable to the same extent as if contained in the body <br />of said code. Appendix C is adopted as a guide only. The <br />plumbing facilities design shall be subject to the approval <br />of the building official. <br /> " (b) In the event of any conflict between the <br />provisions of the Uniform Plumbing Code, 1988 Edition, <br />hereinafter referred to as the Plumbing Code, and the <br />provisions of this chapter, the provisions of this chapter <br />shall apply." <br />SECTION 6. Section 9.110 of the Redwood City Code is hereby <br />amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 9.110. Adoption by Reference; Conflicting <br />Provisions.
