· DES:d;k 11/07/89 (029/7) SECTION 5. Section 9.80 of the Redwood City Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 9.80. Adoption by Reference; Conflicting Provisions. (a) Pursuant to Section 50022.1, et seq. , of the Government Code and Section 15 of the Charter of the City of Redwood City, the Uniform Plumbing Code, 1988 Edition, as published by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials is hereby adopted and shall be in effect within the City of Redwood City to the same extent as if set out in full herein except as expressly amended by the provisions of this article. Appendices A, B, and D thereto are specifically adopted and shall be enforceable to the same extent as if contained in the body of said code. Appendix C is adopted as a guide only. The plumbing facilities design shall be subject to the approval of the building official. " (b) In the event of any conflict between the provisions of the Uniform Plumbing Code, 1988 Edition, hereinafter referred to as the Plumbing Code, and the provisions of this chapter, the provisions of this chapter shall apply." SECTION 6. Section 9.110 of the Redwood City Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 9.110. Adoption by Reference; Conflicting Provisions.
