<br /> DAE. jl 04/06/88 (#06) <br /> DAS:bjl 06/03/88R <br /> DAS:bjl 07/06/88R <br /> JUt 2 5 1988 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1971 ORIGINAL <br /> --------- <br />ORDINANCE REPEALING AND ADDING SECTIONS 20.1 AND 20.101 <br />OF CHAPTER 20 OF THE CODE OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO <br />DEFINITIONS UNDER SAID CHAPTER 20, AND PROHIBITIONS AND <br />RESTRICTIONS TO ALL NIGHT PARKING <br />THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN, AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. Section 20.1 of Chapter 20 of the Redwood <br />City Code is hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 2. Section 20.1 of Chapter 20 of the Redwood <br />City Code is hereby added to read as follows: <br />"Section 20.l. Definitions. The following words and <br />phrases shall for the purpose of this chapter have the meanings <br />respectively ascribed to them in this section: <br />"Whenever any words or phrases used in this chapter are not <br />defined herein, but are now defined in the Vehicle Code of this <br />state, such definitions are incorporated herein and shall be <br />deemed to apply to such words and phrases used herein as though <br />set forth in this chapter in full. <br />"Holiday. A holiday is any day designated as such in <br />sections 6700 and 6701 of the Government Code of the state; <br />provided, however, that Saturday afternoon shall not be <br />considered a holiday for the purpose of this chapter. <br />"Loading Zone. The space adjacent to a curb reserved for <br />the exclusive use of vehicles during the loading or unloading of <br />passengers or materials. <br /> 1971 <br />
