Written notification of such appeal shall be filed with <br />the City Clerk within ten (10 ) days after notification of the <br />determination, order, or directive of the Committee, and shall <br />set forth in detail the facts and reasons supporting the appeal. <br />Hearing on the appeal shall be held by the Council within thirty <br />(30 ) days from the date of filing the notice of appeal. The <br />appellant, the Director, and such other persons as the Council <br />may deem appropriate, shall be heard at the hearing on appeal. <br />Upon conclusion of the hearing, the Council may affirm, reverse <br />or modify the determination, order or directive of the Committee <br />as the Council deems just and equitable, and in furtherance of <br />the provisions, purposes, and intent of this ordinance. During <br />the pendency of any such appeal, the determination, order or <br />directive of the Committee shall remain in full force and effect. <br />The Council's action on the appeal shall be final. <br /> SECTION ll. PENALTY. Any person violating, or causing the <br />violation of, any of the provisions of this ordinance or of the <br />provisions of any adjustment or exception granted pursuant to the <br />provisions of Section 6 (b) hereof, shall be guilty of a <br />misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punishable by <br />a fine of not more than One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) or <br />imprisonment for a term not exceeding thirty days, or by both <br />such fine and imprisonment. Every day, or any portion thereof, <br />any violation of any provision of this ordinance, or of any <br />provision of any adjustment or exception granted pursuant to the <br />provisions of Section 6(b) hereof, shall continue, shall <br /> 13 <br /> -'~"- <br />
