ATTY/RESO.0030/CC RESO DECLARING 112-120 VERA AVENUE PUBLIC NUISANCE & DIRECTING RECONSTRUCTION <br />REV: 03-24-17 RL <br />Page 3 of 9 <br />packages of under pads, no water, gas, or electricity <br /> Bathroom: Windows boarded up so as to prevent emergency egress, toilet not <br />working, no water <br /> Bedroom: Large box of syringes, food items, plastic garbage bags, ashtray with <br />cigarette butts <br /> Garage: Medical equipment stored in garage including bedpan, walker, hoist <br /> <br />Unit 118A <br /> <br /> EXTERIOR: Graffiti <br /> <br /> INTERIOR: <br /> Living Room: Open ceiling, heavy accumulation of boxes, access to this unit was difficult <br />due to the amount of items stored in front room including several sheets of plywood, <br />ladder, large accumulation of plastic grocery bags, several window frames and panes <br /> Kitchen: Approximately ¾ of the ceiling (sheet rock) fallen in due to leaky roof exposing <br />attic from the floor, broken glass on floor, severe water damage from leaky roof, no <br />water, electricity or gas, evidence of termites <br /> Bathroom: Toilet does not flush <br /> Bedroom: Large accumulation of boxes, one with medical supplies (syringes) <br /> Attic: Hole in roof creates visibility to attic <br /> Garage: An electrical cord going to the inside of unit <br /> <br />Unit 120 <br /> <br /> EXTERIOR: Several buckets and pile of bricks found in front door way entrance <br /> <br /> INTERIOR: <br /> Living Room: Living full of items, no walking space – tables, buckets, toolboxes, boxes, <br />bags full of garbage <br /> Kitchen: Counter full of combustible materials including paint cans, fertilizer cans and <br />clean-up sprays, microphone is dropping down from the ceiling, large accumulation of <br />boxes filled with newspaper, evidence of rodents including raccoon excrement <br /> Bathroom: Not working, bathroom used as storage, bathtub is full of more boxes, <br />toilet is also being used to hold up more boxes <br /> Bedroom: Storing empty gas cans, more paint cans and other boxes and tools <br /> Garage: Lawn mower, ladders, large plastic piping <br /> <br />Unit 120A <br /> <br /> *NOTE to FILE: This is the only unit that had electricity, gas, and water. <br /> <br /> EXTERIOR: Medical package outside of unit has been abandoned there for days <br /> <br /> INTERIOR: <br /> Living Room: Completely obstructed with boxes filled with various items, computers, <br />manuals, and etc, a bed deep in the room, next to the fireplace, boxed in with a severe <br />7.B. - Page 24
