NOTICE INVITING BIDS <br />2016-2017 SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF BATTERY BACK-UP SYSTEMS 6 of 12 <br /> <br />18. PAYMENTS <br />Payment will be made promptly following delivery, installation, inspection, and acceptance <br />of work by the City and receipt of invoice. <br /> <br />19. BIDDER’S STATEMENT <br />If awarded the contract, the undersigned hereby agrees to supply and install battery back-up <br />systems according to bid specifications within the stated time period (“maximum number of <br />days till delivery to Redwood City”), commencing upon receipt of the Purchase Order by the <br />Successful Bidder. <br /> <br />If the price per intersection and the total amount named by a Bidder do not agree, it will be <br />assumed that the error was made in computing the total amount and the price per intersection <br />alone will be considered as representing the Bidder's intention. <br /> <br />The undersigned has checked carefully all the figures listed in the Bid Proposal Form and <br />understands that the City will not be responsible for any errors or omissions on the part of the <br />undersigned in making up this bid. <br /> <br />The undersigned hereby certifies· that this bid is genuine, and not sham or collusive, or made <br />in the interest or in behalf of any person not named herein, and that the undersigned has not <br />directly or indirectly induced or solicited any other Bidder to put in a sham bid, or any other <br />person, firm or corporation to refrain from bidding, and that the undersigned has not in any <br />manner sought by collusion to secure for himself an advantage of any kind whatever. <br /> <br />The undersigned acknowledges he or she is responsible for all costs incurrent in the <br />development and submission of their bid, the City assumes no contractual obligation as a <br />result of this Notice Inviting Bids, the City shall not be contractually bound until the City <br />issues a Purchase Order to the Successful Bidder. <br /> <br />The undersigned acknowledges that the City does not pay for goods or services before the <br />City receives them and that the Submitted Bid should not propose contract terms that require <br />upfront payment or deposits. <br /> <br />The undersigned agrees that this bid may not be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after the <br />bid submission due date. <br /> <br />6.1.B. - Page 15
