document for the San Francisco to San Jose segment will be released by the end of <br />2017. <br /> <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />The City Council may choose not to approve the agreement or direct staff to modify the <br />terms of the agreement, in which case the City may not be able to recover its costs <br />when providing resources to the Authority. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There is no fiscal impact to the City as a result of this action. <br /> <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br />Entering into this agreement is not a project under CEQA as defined in CEQA <br />Guidelines, Section 15378, because it has no potential for resulting in either a direct or <br />foreseeable physical change in the environment. <br /> <br />The Authority is the lead agency under CEQA for the Project.
