<br /> S\ .nt 12/17/87 (#06) <br /> SWC:nt 12/22/87R <br /> the City of Redwood City, his deputies, and/or his duly <br /> appointed assistants. <br /> " , (b) The Electrical Inspector shall carry <br /> official identification of his office, and upon display <br /> thereof shall have the right of entry into and upon all <br /> buildings and premises in the City of Redwood City for <br /> the purpose of making inspections, or otherwise <br /> performing such duties as may be necessary or <br /> convenient for the enforcement of the provisions of <br /> this article and the Electrical Code, and subject to <br /> the requirements of law for such inspections or the <br /> performance of such duties. <br /> " , (c) The Electrical Inspector shall perform the <br /> following duties: <br /> " , (1) He shall maintain such public office <br /> hours as are necessary to conduct efficiently <br /> and carry out the duties imposed on him by this <br /> article and the electrical code. He shall <br /> require, examine and check plans and <br /> specifications, drawings, descriptions and/or <br /> information submitted to him by any person <br /> applying for a permit, and upon approval thereof <br /> shall issue the permit for which application was <br /> made. <br /> " 'He shall inspect all electrical work and <br /> electrical systems authorized by any permit, for <br /> the purpose of determining whether or not such <br /> work or system complies with the provisions of <br /> this article and the Electrical Code. He shall <br /> approve or disapprove such work or system in full, <br /> or in part, as the conditions require. <br /> '" (2) He shall issue a certificate of approval <br /> for any electrical work or system approved by him, <br /> which certificate shall authorize the covering, <br /> concealing or use thereof, as the case may be. <br /> " , (3) Under circumstances not, in the opinion of <br /> the Electrical Inspector justifying issuance of <br /> 19 <br /> ._-~ <br />
