<br /> S\ ~nt 12/17/87 (#06) <br /> SWC:nt 12/22/87R <br /> hereinafter referred to as the Housing Code, and the <br /> provisions of this chapter, the provisions of this chapter <br /> shall apply." <br /> "Section 9.61. Section 202 of the Housing Code is <br /> hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "'Section 202. All buildings or portions thereof <br /> which are determined to be substandard as defined in <br /> this code are hereby declared to be public nuisances <br /> and shall be abated by repair, rehabilitation, <br /> demolition or removal in accordance with the procedure <br /> specified in Article II of Chapter 9 of the Code of the <br /> Ci ty of Redwood City.'" <br /> II Section 9.62. Section 203 of the Housing Code is <br /> hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "'Section 203. The Building Inspector is hereby <br /> authorized and empowered to designate representatives <br /> of the San Mateo County Department of Health to act as <br /> his representatives in investigating violations of, and <br /> enforcing any provision of, the code relating to <br /> inadequate light, air or sanitation facilities, or any <br /> other matter determined by the Health Officer as likely <br /> to cause a building to be unsanitary, unfit for human <br /> habitation or in such a condition that is likely to <br /> cause sickness or disease. When so designated such <br /> representatives shall have the same powers and duties <br /> as the Building Inspector. All references in the code <br /> of the 'Health Officer' shall be construed to be <br /> 8 <br /> .- <br />
