50. Construction Meetings — The applicant is required to contact the Permit Counter <br />(650.780.7350) to schedule the following meetings prior to or during construction. <br />[COA][BUILDING] <br />a. Pre -Submittal — Prior to building permit submittal, schedule a pre -submittal <br />meeting with Building, Planning, Engineering and Fire staff to discuss the permitting <br />process and submittal requirements. <br />b. Pre -Construction - After City permits are issued, but prior to start of construction, <br />schedule a pre -construction meeting with Engineering, Building, Fire, and Planning <br />staff to discuss the inspection process and requirements for construction and site <br />work. The applicant shall arrange for the attendance of the owner, developer, <br />construction manager, contractor, and all subcontractors who are responsible for <br />grading and erosion and sedimentation protection controls. <br />51. Materials Mock -Up — Prior to final foundation inspection, prepare a mock-up that is <br />outdoors, readily accessible, and will remain intact until the project has reached <br />substantial completion. The mock-up should include all project colors and materials, <br />windows for the base and top, balconies, lighting, and architectural details, as well <br />as construction details, such as the weep screed, to understand how the design <br />addresses them. Then schedule a mock-up meeting with the Planning and Building <br />Departments for final review and approval of the project details. Submit an updated <br />colors and materials board or details if any changes are made as a result of the <br />mock-up meeting. [COA][PLANNING] <br />52. Construction Management and Staging - Prior to encroachment permit issuance, <br />submit a construction parking management plan, which shall outline the number of <br />construction workers by phase, phase duration, and where parking will be located <br />for each phase. A construction traffic plan, including the identification of truck haul <br />routes, shall also be submitted to and approved by the City. Construction, parking, <br />material storage, equipment, or other construction -related uses are not allowed <br />within the City right of way without prior approval from the City Engineer. <br />[COA][ENGINEERING] <br />53. Construction Noise Reduction Measures — The following noise reduction <br />measures shall be required throughout the course of construction: <br />1. Construction equipment shall be well maintained and used judiciously to be <br />as quiet as practical. <br />2. Ensure that all internal combustion engine -driven equipment is equipped with <br />mufflers that are in good operating condition and appropriate for the <br />equipment. <br />3.
