<br /> DAS:sh 2/6/85 <br />authorized representatives shall have the authority to <br />implement. , <br /> "'Section 12.1l. Section 2.302 of the Fire Code is <br />hereby deleted and shall have no force or effect in the <br />City. <br /> " 'Section . 12 . 12 . Section 10.306 of the Fire Code is <br />hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "'Section 10.306. Fire and Smoke Alarm Systems. <br /> " , (a) ~ Every apartment house, hotel, townhouse, or <br />condominium three stories or more in height or containing <br />more than 15 apartments and every hotel three stories or <br />more in height or containing 20 or more guest rooms, shall <br />have installed therein an approved automatic or manually <br />operated fire alarm system designed to warn the occupants of <br />the building in the event of fire. <br /> Such fire alarm system shall be so designed that all <br />occupants of the building may be warned simultaneously, and <br />shall be in accordance with Part 3, Title 24, California <br />Administrative Code Sections 3-760-1 through 3-760-10. <br /> " , (b) No signal system or intercommunicating system <br />used for any purpose other than fire warnlng meets the <br />requirements of this Article. <br /> " , (c) Installation, inspection, and maintenance of the <br />fire alarm system shall be according to the standards set <br />forth in National Fire Protection Association, Pamphlet No. <br />72A. <br /> 4 <br /> .._---,-~.~. <br />
