SWC:sh 7/26/85
(8 ) Recreation impacts will be mitigated by
construction of public access improvements around
the perimeter of the site. (p.140)
(9 ) Impacts relating to aesthetics will be minimized
by restricting the height of buildings to four (4 )
stories. (p.166)
(10 ) Energy impacts will be reduced to acceptable
levels by utilizing the mitigation measures
described on p. 173.
(e) Approval of the Agreement for the Project will allow
the occurrence of certain significant effects identified in the
EIR, the Supplemental Traffic Report of September 14, 1983 and
the Barton-Aschman study which cannot reasonably or feasibly be
mitigated, to wit: the potential effects of vehicular traffic
generated by the Project, along with other developments currently
proposed in the eastside traffic corridor. (EIR pp.140-159;
Traffic Study, September 14, 1983 p. 8-11)
(f) Changes or alterations have been or will be required,
and incorporated into, the Project which substantially lessen the
significant environmental effects as identified in the EIR. The
EIR as supplemented by the Traffic Study, has identified a range
of mitigation measures which will further substantially lessen
the significant environmental impacts identified in the EIR and
Traffic Study and which will be incorporated in the Project. As
a result, the Developer will be required to mitigate traffic
impacts of the Project to the fullest extent feasible. The
mitigation measures are set forth in the Traffic Study at pp.
12-14 and the Barton-Aschman study, and include the redesign of
the Project so that the main entrance to the Project will be at
Bridge Parkway, which will be four (4 ) lanes into the Project.
4
191 7
....-....-
