All reports and records required <br />under this or any other Section shall be furnished at the sole <br />expense of the Grantee. <br />SECTION 8. SECURITY. <br />(a) Franchise Performance Bond. Within thirty (30) days <br />after the operative date of this franchise and prior to the <br />commencement of any construction work by Grantee, Grantee shall <br />file with Grantor a Franchise Performance Bond or an equivalent <br />security approved by Grantor in the principal amount of One <br />Hundred Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($125,000) , in favor of <br />Grantor. Said bond or other security shall guarantee the <br />faithful performance of all of Grantee's obligations in <br />accordance with the terms and conditions of this franchise and in <br />accordance with the CATV Ordinance and shall indemnify and save <br />harmless Grantor from any loss resulting from the breach of said <br />terms and conditions or other failure to perform as aforesaid. <br />The form and substance of said bond shall be subject to Grantor's <br />approval, which approval shall not unreasonably be withheld. <br />(b) Security Fund. (1) In addition to the security to be <br />provided under subdivision (a) above, and within thirty (30) days <br />after the effective date of this franchise, Grantee shall deposit <br />with a bank approved by Grantor, and maintain on deposit <br />throughout the term of this franchise, the sum of Ten Thousand <br />(10,000) or an equivalent security as approved by Grantor as <br />additional monetary security for the faithful performance by <br />Grantee of all of its franchise obligations, and for compliance <br /> 11 <br /> --....... <br />
