Grantor may direct Grantee to provide such services <br />within a reasonable time, under reasonable rates and conditions, <br />except that the Grantor shall not require Grantee to carry any <br />specific program on its CATV System. Failure to provide such <br />directed services shall be considered a breach of this franchise, <br />subject to franchise termination or other remedies of Grantor as <br />provided in this ordinance. <br /> SECTION 4. FRANCHISE SERVICES. Grantee shall provide the <br />following services in accordance with the following schedule: <br /> (a) A basic subscriber television service which shall <br />include the system-required services of the Federal <br />Communications Commission ( " FCC" ) , distant television broadcast <br />signals, and imported non-broadcast signals. The basic <br />subscriber television service may be provided in various service <br />tiers or configurations. <br /> (b) A basic subscriber radio service which shall include <br />broadcast FM. <br /> (c) A local origination channel which shall include a <br />cablecasting studio at the Canada College campus of the San Mateo <br />Community College District on a high-quality, professional basis <br />for the purpose of providing cablecast programming responsive to <br />local needs and interests. This channel shall be installed by <br />Grantee within one (1) year from written notice to so perform, <br />after approval thereof has been received from the FCC.
