TERM. The term of the franchise granted herein <br /> - <br />shall be 15 years corr~encing upon the operative date of this <br />ordinance, subject to the provisions of this section. <br /> The Grantor and the Grantee, in order to provide for <br />technological, economic, and regulatory changes in the state of the <br />art of cable communications, to facilitate renewal procedures, to <br />promote the maximum degree of flexibility in the CATV system, and <br />to achieve a continuing, advanced, modern system, shall comply with <br />the following system and services review provisions: <br /> (a) The Grantor and Grantee shall hold a System and Services <br />review session on or about the fifth anniversary date of the <br />franchise agreement. A subsequent review session shall be <br />scheduled by the Grantor five (5 ) years thereafter. All such <br />review sessions shall be open to the public, and notice shall be <br />given as to the date such sessions shall be conducted. <br /> (b) Sixty (60) days prior to the scheduled System and <br />Services Review Session, Grantee shall submit a report to Grantor <br />indicating the following: <br /> (1) All cable system services that are being <br /> provided on an operational basis, excluding <br /> tests and demonstrations, to cities in <br /> California with populations above fifty <br /> thousand (50,000) , that are not provided <br /> to the Grantor, in which Telecommunications, Inc. <br /> 2 <br /> ,- .,......"..n..._ <br />
