Grantee shall retain title to all <br />equipment utilized in connection with providing local programming. <br />Grantee shall provide regularly scheduled maintenance of all studio <br />and microwave equipment for the local origination channel. <br />(d) Addressable technology (which shall include making <br />available addressable converters to all subscribers requesting such <br />service) within four years from the operative date of this <br />ordinance. <br />(e) Grantee shall expand the CATV system to a 36 channel <br />capacity within two years from the operative date of this <br />ordinance. <br />(f) The Grantee shall provide without charge one outlet of <br />Basic Cable Service to each governmental office building, fire <br />station, police station and public school building that is located <br />within 400 cable meters of an aerial trunkline or within 100 cable <br />meters of an underground trunkline. These outlets shall not be <br />used to sell cable serV1.ces in or throughout such building; nor <br />shall such outlets be located in common or public areas open to <br />the public. <br />SECTION 5. FRANCHISE FEE. Grantee shall pay to Grantor an <br />annual franchise fee of five percent (5% ) of the gross annual <br />revenues, payable in quarterly installments due thirty (30) days <br />after the conclusion of a particular quarter (1st quarter - March <br />31, 2nd quarter - June 30, 3rd quarter - September 30, and 4th <br />quarter - December 31).
