<br /> ammonium nitrate fertilizers and fertilizer mixtures, highly toxic <br /> materials, pyrophoric materials, hypergolic materials, cryogenic <br /> materials, poisonous gases or hazardous materials, see Section 4.101. <br /> For a specific hazard occupancy permit, see Section 4.101. <br /> For a permit to store, handle or use radioactive material, see <br /> Section 4,101. <br /> Q <br /> All permits issued by the Fire Department shall be posted in a <br /> conspicious location on the premises. <br /> GENERAL REQUIREMENTS <br /> Sec. 80.103. <br /> (a) The manufacture, storage, on-site transportation or use of <br /> hazardous materials shall be safeguarded with such protective devices as <br /> public safety requires. <br /> (b) The Chief may require the following: <br /> 1. The separation or isolation by both primary and secondary <br /> , <br /> containment of any material that, in combination with other substances, <br /> may bring about a fire or explosion, or may liberate a flammable or <br /> poisonous gas, or cause the deterioration of the primary or secondary <br /> containment. <br /> 2. The separation of occupancies or buildings from other \ <br /> storage when the quantity of hazardous materials stored constitutes a <br /> f ire or life hazard. <br /> (c) Defective storage facilities which permit leakage or spillage <br /> shall be disposed of or repaired in accordance with recognized safe <br /> practices; no spilled hazardous material shall be allowed to accumulate <br /> on floors or shelves. <br /> ; <br /> .. <br /> (7) <br /> ,.-. -.--........ <br />
