RESOLUTION NO. 2015 -- 7065 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF WOODSIDE <br />APPROVING A PUBLIC WORKS MUTUAL AID AGREEMENT <br />WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo and the cities and towns in <br />San Mateo County have expressed a mutual interest in the establishment <br />of a plan to encourage public works mutual, aid agreements; and <br />WHEREAS, the Town Council has determined -that it would be in <br />the Town's best interest to participate in a Public Works Mutual Aid <br />Agreement; and <br />WHEREAS, section 8630 et seq. of the State of, California <br />Government Code grants local agencies full power to provide mutual aid <br />pursuant to established agreements; and <br />WHEREAS, a forts of agreement for public works mutual aid has <br />been presented to this Council and considered; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HERBY RESOLVED, by the Town Council of <br />the Town of Woodside that any earlier agreement the Town may have <br />entered into relative to the June 14, 1994, Public Works Mutual Aid <br />Agreement for San Mateo County is hereby revoked and rescinded, and <br />the May 29, '2015, County of San Mateo Public Works Mutual Aid <br />Agreement is hereby approved. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Town Council of the Town of Woodside, <br />California, at a meeting thereof held on the 22nd day of September, <br />2015, by the following vote: <br />AXES, and in favor thereof, Councilmembers: Burow, Gordon, Kasten, <br />Mason, Romines, Tanner, Mayor Shanahan <br />NOES, Councilmembers: None <br />ABSENT, Councilmembers: None <br />ABSTAIN, Councilmembers: None <br />ATTEST: <br />a--4�4- t <br />Clgrk-of the Town of Woodside <br />SKC5PublicftrkaMutualAidAgreement <br />Mayor of the Town of Woodside <br />I hereby certify that the a#xoft Is <br />a tru <br />Of i —;*ASr <br />bate DJ <br />Town perk <br />.)C <br />
