<br />Staff believes the additional scope of work as proposed in the contract amendment <br />represents a solid level of effort and is essential to delivering a complete Council- <br />approved capital improvement program. <br /> <br /> <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />Council may choose not to approve the proposed amendment to the agreement with <br />West Yost Associates, Inc. and direct staff to find alternate means of completing the <br />work, or modify the scope of work for the amended professional services agreement. <br /> <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Funds for this project were appropriated under Traffic Mitigation Fees Fund – Blomquist <br />Avenue Extension Project, which has an available balance of $699,425.59, as of <br />February 28, 2016. <br /> <br /> <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br />As the lead agency, City of Redwood City has determined that the consulting services <br />associated with the pump station, which is proposed with this report, does not constitute <br />a project as defined by California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
