Incidentally, this <br />project also includes new roadway markings which promote and maintain traffic safety. <br /> <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />1. Council may request additional information prior to accepting the project or <br />authorizing the release of bonds. <br />2. Council may choose not to accept the project or authorize the release of bonds. <br />However, this would be contrary to the terms of the contract, prior council action, <br />and public contracting code. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Sufficient funding for the construction of this project was previously approved and <br />appropriated under the Transportation Fund – Street Pavement Management Program; <br />including $1,400,000.00 that was included in the Fiscal Year 2016-2017 Capital <br />Improvement Program budget.
