COPY <br />RESOLUTION NO.p-2356 <br />RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING CONSIDERATION PURSUANT TO THE <br />CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT OF THE PROPOSED <br />MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION AND REVISED INITIAL STUDY FOR <br />THE STAR CONCRETE BATCH PLANT PROJECT LOCATED AT THE PORT <br />OF REDWOOD CITY, CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, IN THE COUNTY OF SAN <br />MATEO; MAKING CERTAIN FINDINGS PERTAINING TO A CERTAIN <br />PROJECT IN CONNECTION THEREWITH; APPROVING THE MITIGATED <br />NEGATIVE DECLARATION TO ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS FOR SAID <br />PROJECT; AND AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF A NOTICE OF <br />DETERMINATION AND THE PAYMENT OF EXPENDITURES, FEES AND <br />COSTS RELATED THERETO (Sandman, Inc. dba Star Concrete) <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the California Environmental <br />Quality Act ("CEQA"; Pub. Resources Code §21000, et seq. and 14 Cal. Regs. <br />15000 et seq.), the City of Redwood City, by and through its Board of Port <br />Commissioners (the 'Port") undertook the preparation of an Initial Study and the <br />preparation of a Draft Mitigated Negative Declaration ("DMND") for the Star <br />Concrete Batch Plant project (the "Project") and circulated the Initial Study and <br />the DMND; for public comments; and <br />WHEREAS, the Project was subsequently revised prior to the adoption of <br />the Mitigated Negative Declaration; and <br />WHEREAS, the Project is located within the Port of Redwood City, at 475 <br />Seaport Blvd., Redwood City, California - APN 054-300-530 (the "Site").
