architect or architectural historian for potential impacts to the adjacent historic resource <br />and by the City's Historic Resources Advisory Committee (HRAC) for its potential impacts <br />on the adjacent historic resource; and <br />WHEREAS, the Applicant hired Page & Turnbull, a qualified Architectural Historian <br />company listed on the City's list of Qualified Historical Consultants, to analyze potential <br />impacts to the historic resource on the project site at 929 Main Street, the Historic Main <br />Street District, and the adjacent historic resources; and <br />WHEREAS, the historian report, dated April 6, 2017, finds that the Project is <br />consistent with The Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic <br />Properties with Guidelines for Preserving, Rehabilitating, Restoring & Reconstructing <br />Buildings; and <br />WHEREAS, the historian report also finds (a) that the Project is consistent with <br />standards and guidelines of Sections 2.1.3.GG of the DTPP; (b) that the Project will not <br />result in a substantial adverse change in the significance of the Main Street Historic <br />District, and (c) that the Project will not result in a substantial adverse change in the <br />significance of the adjacent historic resources at 917-921 Main Street, 935 Main Street, <br />and 116 Stambaugh Street; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 40 of the Redwood City Code (Historic <br />Preservation Ordinance), the HRAC shall review any application to tear down, demolish, <br />construct, alter, remove or relocate any improvement, or any portion thereof, which has <br />is within a historic district; and <br />WHEREAS, on April 13, 2017, the HRAC conducted a duly -noticed public meeting <br />in accordance with all applicable requirements of State Law, to review the report prepared <br />by Page & Turnbull, along with other associated project materials, and to review whether <br />the Project conforms to the Secretary of Interior's Standards for Rehabilitation. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HISTORIC RESOURCES <br />ADVISORY COMMITTEE AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Under Section 2.0.3.A.3 of the DTPP, the HRAC has reviewed the <br />Project for conformance with the applicable Historic Resources Preservation standards <br />and guidelines of the DTPP, and hereby finds that the Revised Project is in conformance <br />with the applicable Historic Resources Preservation standards and guidelines. <br />Section 2. Under Section 2.1.4.A of the DTPP, the HRAC hereby finds that the <br />Project will not have a significant adverse impact on the subject building and fully <br />adheres to the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic <br />Properties with Guidelines for Preserving, Rehabilitating, Restoring & Reconstructing <br />Historic Buildings. <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />ATTY/RES0.0035/HRAC RESO 929 MAIN STREET <br />REV: 04-10-1715 <br />
