Most of the <br />population increase has been centered on downtown, and the <br />building is so crowded, particularly on evenings and weekends, that <br />people can literally have difficulty finding an open chair even in <br />2016. Funds are requested to hire an architect/designer to analyze <br />usage and develop a plan for expansion to meet contemporary <br />community needs for library services.
