Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program EXHIBIT B
Page 26 of 26
ATTY/RESO.0042/CC RESO CALIFORNIA WAY WATER TANK, PUMP STATION AND PIPELINE PROJECT
REV: 05-03-17 PR df

Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program
Impact Mitigation Measure Implementation
and Timing
Monitoring
Responsibility
Verified
Implementation
such as drills rather than impact equipment,
whenever feasible.
unless otherwise
specified.
incorporates this noise
control measure into
daily operations.

IMPACT NOI-1:
Construction activities could
expose the public to noise
levels in excess of standards
established in the City’s
General Plan and/or Noise
Ordinance.
Mitigation Measure NOI-3: Construction
activities shall be limited to the hours of
7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through
Friday, which is more restrictive than the
noise ordinance requirements. Signs
required by the noise ordinance shall reflect
the more restrictive construction hour
limitation and also include a day and
evening contact number for the job site and
a day and evening contact number for the
City in the event of problems or excessive
noise complaints. If the City receives more
than 10 noise complaints during one week,
the City shall conduct noise measures while
construction is occurring to determine the
exact level of noise and whether it exceeds
the noise ordinance standards. If the noise
ordinance standards are being exceeded, the
City shall work with the contractor to
devise a strategy to bring noise levels into
compliance including erection of
attenuating buffers as described in NOI-1.
Implementation:
The City shall
incorporate this
noise mitigation
measure into all
appropriate bid,
contract, and
engineering and site
plan (e.g. building,
grading,
improvement plans)
documents.
Timing: Prior to
any ground-
disturbing activities,
unless otherwise
specified.
Monitoring: The City’s
Engineering Division
shall review all
appropriate bid,
contract, and
engineering and site
(building, grading,
improvement plans)
documents for inclusion
of this noise reduction
measure.
The City shall
periodically inspect the
site to ensure the
construction process
incorporates this noise
control measure into
daily operations.
Initials:
Date:
8.A. - Page 33
